After several days of incommunicado, I am back to hopefully painting and posting daily. The preparations and post-preparations for a trip, as well as a long trip, some short nights, and the ensuing tiredness took all my time.
This and the next painting were already done before the trip but I did not find the time to post. This Dutch canal with an iron bridge (not sure if it is a drawbridge) and a wood structure (whose function I am not familiar with) is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by some houses and lots of pasture.
