At the moment I am still behind with the 30in30 Challenge since we have the 11th and this is my 6th painting. However, I finished two today and started several others.
This is another painting of the series “Dutch Landscapes”. It shows the harbor in Harderwijk in the Netherlands. On the left side, there are several very interesting sailing boats which look like carved from mahogany and polished. On the mast, the fishing nets are hung out for drying. In the background is a typical Dutch windmill. The sky was really that blue on this day and the water was deep blue.
