Sahel Sun

September is over and the 30in30 challenge, too. Nevertheless, I wanted to continue along the same lines and paint another ten watercolor paintings, since I added 10 drawings into the mix.

Today’s painting is a typical view of the Sahel – Baobab trees and other dry scrubs in front of a misty afternoon sun. This view is especially typical during Harmattan season when there is a lot of desert sand in the air, to the point that you can hardly see the sun.
