Mosaics of Networks – Gemeinschaftsausstellung
art bv Berchtoldvilla und Vantaan Taiteilijaseura

This exhibition in Finland is the counterpart to the exhibition in Salzburg. The composition of the exhibition will vary, as not all works are suitable for transport. My two works will be included in the exhibition in Finland.
Opening: Friday, March 27, 2026, 7:00 PM
Exhibition: March 28 to April 26, 2026
Address: Galleria K & Taidelainaamo, Vantaa, Finland
Curatorial team: Gabriele Straschil, Andrea Lacher-Bryk (for Salzburg)
My two works are titled net.works.overlap.interact. They represent an exciting evolution of my previous use of paper fragments and fabrics. Marble dust structures are included this time as well, but in a smaller proportion than before. That is why I refer to the technique as “textile and paper collage.”
The various fabric elements are all net-like, starting with the coarse jute as the base. They interweave with one another, and their colors also influence each other. They have varying numbers of points of contact with one another. And these connections vary in stability.

All these details show how networks and teamwork can vary greatly in human interaction and work, and how much we must adapt to others’ unique characteristics when collaborating with them. And how, ultimately, all networks are interconnected to some degree, interacting with and influencing one another. It is only through collaboration that a whole emerges—a functioning whole and a colorful “Mosaic of Networks.”

A Line A Day
The exhibition “A Line A Day” at art bv Berchtoldvilla marks a completely new chapter for me—I will be curating this exhibition together with Monika Maria Weiß. NOTHING … and Its Relationship to Being
Under this highly philosophical title, this year’s 2026 Festival Exhibition will take place at the Berchtoldvilla.
Quote from the announcement
The exhibition explores the philosophical and artistic engagement with the concept of “nothingness.” It examines various interpretations of nothingness and its relationship to being. The exhibition features contemporary artworks that engage with the idea of nothingness in diverse ways—ranging from realism, surrealism, minimalism, and abstraction to conceptual art and installations.
Opening: Friday, July 3, 2026, 7:00 p.m.
Exhibition: July 4 through August 13, 2026
Address: art bv Berchtoldvilla, Josef-Preis-Allee 12, Salzburg
Curatorial team: Paul Raas, Andrea Lacher-Bryk
This is what my original submission, “Formeless and Void,” looked like:

You can look forward to seeing how it turned out. This original submission underwent an interesting evolution through dialogue with the curators and is now being exhibited under the title “What Remains?”
Planned additional events:
Thursday, July 9, 2026 – Edition Tandem Publishing Festival
Saturday, July 11, 2026, tentatively at 2:00 p.m. – Symposium
Friday, July 17, 2026 – Concert (tentatively in the afternoon/evening)
Mountain Art Filzmoos
Under the title MOUNTAIN-ART project26, artworks will be exhibited and workshops held at various locations throughout Filzmoos in September 2026.
From September 5 to 26, 2026, artists from around the world (painters, sculptors, and photographers) will present their works of art at the most beautiful locations (alpine huts, hotels, restaurants) in Filzmoos, once again transforming the mountain village into the largest art gallery in the Alps.
The curator of MOUNTAIN-ART project 2026 is JOHN WIESER, and the Mountain Art Festival is organized by Filzmoos Tourism.
